business opportunities, structuring carbon credit transactions, managing

global carbon and sustainability markets. The incumbent will work closely with
technical, legal, and finance teams to deliver high -quality, end -to -end carbon

changes, and innovations in carbon credits, offsets, and sustainability

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Build and nurture strong, long -term relationships with
key clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Serve
as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met by
delivering tailored carbon solutions that align with their sustainability
goals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Manage
communications and engagements with high -level stakeholders in the carbon and
environmental sectors, including government bodies, private entities, and
international organizations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Lead
efforts to structure and execute carbon credit transactions, collaborating
closely with trading platforms, clients, and internal teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Develop
pricing strategies for carbon credits and assist in negotiating contracts to
maximize revenue and meet client needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Stay
informed of market fluctuations and regulatory changes that could affect carbon
pricing and trading opportunities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Conduct
comprehensive market research to understand competitor activities, new
developments in carbon offset protocols, and advancements in emission reduction
technologies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Analyze
potential market entry strategies and recommend plans for developing new
business areas, including voluntary and compliance markets.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Work
closely with project managers, technical teams, and external partners to ensure
carbon projects are executed efficiently, from inception to completion.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ensure
timely delivery of all deliverables while managing client expectations and
addressing any project -related issues as they arise.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Maintain
oversight on project milestones and financial targets, ensuring alignment with
company goals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Monitor
the progress of business development initiatives and prepare regular reports
for senior management, detailing pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and key
metrics.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

CRM systems to log and track interactions with clients, leads, and partners,
ensuring transparency in all BD activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Evaluate
the success of carbon projects and sales initiatives, offering insights for
future business development strategies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Attend
relevant industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to represent the
company and build a strong network within the carbon market.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate
with internal teams (finance, legal, technical) to provide clients with
comprehensive solutions, addressing technical and financial aspects of carbon
trading.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/div>Skills
& Qualifications:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/div>Bachelor’s
degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics,
Business, or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Master’s
degree in Sustainability, Climate Change, Environmental Management, or MBA
(preferred).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>5–10+
years of experience in business development, carbon markets, sustainability
consulting, or climate -related sectors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Hands -on
experience with carbon credit projects, trading, or market -facing roles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Exposure
to international carbon markets and cross -border client engagements is an
advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Willingness
to travel for client meetings, project discussions, and industry events as
required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Strong
understanding of carbon markets, including voluntary and compliance mechanisms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Knowledge
of carbon credits, offsets, pricing structures, and trading platforms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Familiarity
with major standards and frameworks (Verra, Gold Standard, UNFCCC, Article 6,
etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ability
to analyse carbon market trends, regulatory developments, and pricing dynamics.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Experience
in structuring carbon credit transactions and commercial agreements<\/span><\/span><\/span>
