About Solar Path
Solar Path is a fast-growing Irish solar PV company delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and agricultural solar solutions. We pride ourselves on technical competence, honest advice, and long-term customer relationships. As demand grows, we are launching a dedicated Commercial & Agricultural division— and this role will play a key part in building it from the ground up.
We have established lead generation sources, with an average of 40 to 50 leads a week, and an ability to increase this as required.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Sales Representativeto establish and grow Solar Path’s Commercial & Agricultural solar division.
In the early stages, you will also support residential sales activity, ensuring consistent lead handling and revenue while the new division is being built out. Over time, the role will evolve into a primarily commercial/agricultural focus.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants ownership, responsibility, and progression, not just a fixed sales patch.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Agricultural Sales (Primary Focus)
Identify, prospect, and develop new commercial and agricultural solar opportunities
Engage with farmers, business owners, developers, and landowners
Conduct site visits and initial technical assessments (training provided)
Work with design and engineering teams to develop tailored solar solutions
Manage deals from lead stage through proposal, negotiation, and close
Build long-term relationships and referral pipelines
Help define and refine sales processes for the new division
Residential Sales Support (Early Stage)
Handle residential sales enquiries while the commercial division is scaling
Qualify leads, conduct consultations, and follow up on quotations
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
Deliver a professional, consultative customer experience
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in B2B sales, construction, renewables, agri-sales, or a related field
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable dealing with farmers, business owners, and senior decision-makers
Self-starter mindset — able to work independently and build something new
Organised, process-driven, and comfortable using CRM systems
Full clean driving licence
