Solar Path is a Cork city based premium Solar PV installation company. We are looking to expand our roofing teams in 2026.
We are looking for a self motivated people to join our roofing teams. The available roles are for experienced Solar PV Roofers/ Installers, as well as a junior position for a roofing assistant. The roles will involve working on sites across Munster, setting scaffolding and installing solar PV panels on our customers’ properties, ensuring compliance with building regulations, SEAI and the company health and safety requirements.
Requirements
Roofing/Carpentry qualification is very important but not a critical requirement.
For full roofing role, at least 2 years roofing experience on a variety of different roof types, including minimum 1 year installing Solar PV panels.
For roofing assistant roll, no specific experience is required.
Passion for what you do and having pride in the quality of your work is critical
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal staff and customers where required
Must be self motivated, ambitious and driven.
Responsibilities
Erecting and disassembling aluminium scaffolding towers.
Installing solar PV systems, consisting of solar panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs.
Engage with homeowners and advise on works being undertaken or changes to initial scope of works.
Complete works to a high standard and within the time allocated for the project.
Capture and submit all required photographs and other information required for the project.
