About the Opportunity
Industry: Renewable Energy — Solar PV (rooftop, commercial & small utility-scale) sector. We design, deploy and operate distributed solar and hybrid PV+storage systems across India, delivering reliable clean energy and optimized asset performance.
Role (Primary title): Solar PV Technician — remote-based role supporting installations, commissioning and operations & maintenance through monitoring platforms and field coordination. Remote work with periodic site visits across India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line remote technical support for PV systems: diagnose faults, interpret alarm logs and resolve issues through monitoring platforms, phone and video guidance.
- Lead commissioning activities remotely and coordinate on-site commissioning with field teams — configure inverters, string monitoring, protection settings and BMS interfaces.
- Analyse performance data and fault trends to recommend corrective actions, replacement parts or software/firmware updates to restore or improve energy yield.
- Generate clear service reports, test logs and handover documentation; maintain accurate ticketing and asset records in the service management system.
- Coordinate vendor escalations, spare parts logistics and technician dispatches; ensure timely closures and SLA compliance.
