Our client’s Optimisation, Operations & Maintenance team is seeking a Renewable Energy SCADA Platform Lead with a strong passion for ensuring the integrity, performance, and continuous improvement of a centralised SCADA platform across a diversified portfolio of solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) assets.
This role works cross-functionally with internal Engineering, Asset Management, Trading, and IT teams, as well as external SCADA vendors, OEMs, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and O&M service providers. The objective is to ensure that SCADA infrastructure enables operational excellence, secure remote control, regulatory compliance, and scalable fleet growth.
The role also plays a key part in standardising SCADA configurations across asset types, enhancing alarm and event handling, and supporting automation and optimisation initiatives aligned with long-term asset strategy.
A core focus of the position is ensuring that real-time and historical data from all operational sites is reliably captured, securely transmitted, and made accessible via a 2nd-tier SCADA platform for performance monitoring, analytics, fault detection, compliance reporting, and trading-related use cases. The successful candidate will act as the subject-matter expert for SCADA architecture, communication protocols, and platform integrations, including mission-critical operational and trading systems.
