Your Impact:
The Telecom Customer Premise Technician - Level IV plays a critical role in the installation, integration, and testing of fiber systems at customer premises. This position requires advanced technical skills, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed installation and testing of fiber systems according to Telco Standards.
- Demonstrate comprehensive installation skills on a variety of fiber system equipment.
- Work with transport equipment such as Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, Nortel, Nokia, DELL, and Juniper.
- Adhere to fiber installation standards and procedures.
- Interpret and implement Method of Procedures, order specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure accuracy of all documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct system testing and integration, interfacing with customers and vendors.
- Perform quality audits and validate compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project-related issues and provide solutions following defined processes.
- Generate and review project documents, including test records and completion reports.
- Install, modify, and remove telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
- Conduct performance testing and resolve technical issues as needed.
- Perform other job-related tasks as required.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of installation experience in telecommunications or related fields.
- High school diploma and technical training; Verizon installation experience preferred.
- Proficient in laptop computer applications and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions provided in various formats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet pre-employment background check requirements.
- Ability to comply with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Physical capability to lift 50lbs and work in various physical positions and environments.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible shifts, with expenses covered by the employer.

Base Pay Range
$62,000 - $72,000 USD
