You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and partnering closely with operational and executive teams in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
This role offers exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable infrastructure investments. The successful candidate will gain hands-on involvement across the full finance value chain, from project finance and funding structures to reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, board packs, and statutory financial statements
- Lead cash flow management, treasury, and funding processes, including interaction with lenders and investors
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Provide financial insights and commercial support to renewable energy projects and operations
- Manage audits and act as the key liaison with external auditors and advisors
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education:
- Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) (non-negotiable)
- Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years post-articles experience
- Proven experience in a Financial Manager or similar role
- Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based environments is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring finance staff
- Skills:
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage or similar)
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
- Other Non-Negotiables:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- South African citizenship or valid work permit
