Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TGTG is currently seeking a certified CEH to provide janitorial and custodial services in support of daily operations at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Due to staffing shortages, additional cleaning support is required to maintain a high state of readiness at the Medical Center.
Housekeepers are responsible for performing routine and specialized cleaning tasks in accordance with VA healthcare standards, infection control protocols, and safety regulations. This position supports operations across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, and requires reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas
Follow VA infection control standards, environmental services procedures, and safety requirements
Properly collect, handle, and dispose of waste, including regulated medical waste
Replenish consumable supplies such as paper products, soap, and disinfectants
Operate janitorial equipment and cleaning tools safely and effectively
Respond to urgent, unscheduled, or special cleaning requests as required
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment
Support Medical Center readiness by ensuring facilities meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work weekends, nights, or overtime as required
Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Attention to detail and ability to meet cleanliness and safety standards
Prior janitorial or housekeeping experience in a healthcare or commercial environment is a plus
Ability to pass background investigation and clearance requirements
