ION Solar is looking for an upbeat, happy, dedicated, self-starting individual to join our team as a Compliance Lead. You will ensure that each solar project is compliant with HOA, Utility, and AHJ regulations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review each project for new requirements that need to be met for permitting and installation
- Communicate with the jurisdictions and build good relationships
- Coordinate with many departments in a company-wide effort to serve our customers
- Play a pivotal role in the communication pathway between field employees, cities, utilities, and the corporate office.
- Assist Manager in daily operations to meet goals and timelines
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Excel and Autocad
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Reliability and regular attendance
- Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems
- Computer literacy
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2 - 6 Years of Compliance or equivalent job experience
- Solar experience (preferred)
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
