ION Solar is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to support our hiring efforts through Indeed and other recruiting platforms. This role is responsible for contacting and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and guiding applicants through the hiring process from initial application to onboarding.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Source, contact, and screen candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department leaders
- Manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle in a timely and organized manner
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs, priorities, and timelines
- Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records within applicant tracking systems
- Post and manage job openings across multiple recruiting platforms
- Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience conducting candidate screenings and coordinating interviews
- Familiarity with online job boards and recruiting dashboards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience supporting corporate or multi-department hiring preferred
- Experience managing job boards or PPC recruitment platforms preferred
- Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies
- Solar or construction industry experience preferred, but not required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced office environment with extensive computer and phone use
- Primarily desk-based with occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 20 pounds
- Typical office noise with regular interruptions
