DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient LAN/WAN infrastructure, including configuring routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Hardware Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, servers, peripherals), ensuring optimal performance and managing the hardware inventory.
- Office 365 Administration: Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies within the O365 environment.
- CCTV & Security Systems: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IP and Analog CCTV systems, DVRs, NVRs, and other building security/access control systems.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as an escalation point for complex IT issues (Levels 2/3), providing timely resolution for hardware, software, network, and security problems.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and firewalls, to protect the network and data from threats.
- Documentation & Processes: Maintain detailed documentation of network infrastructure, systems, processes, and configurations, and develop IT policies and procedures.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, support, and service contracts.
- Project Assistance: Collaborate with the IT team on various projects, such as system upgrades, new technology deployments, and network enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in an IT support or network administration role, with hands-on experience in hardware and networking support.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server) and Active Directory.
- Experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of network security practices and tools (firewalls, VPNs).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Preferred but not mandatory Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar networking certifications.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator).
