We are seeking an experienced and driven Solar Sales Manager to lead and grow our solar energy sales division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding our presence in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for solar PV and energy solutions
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of solar sales engineers/consultants
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive team accountability
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Support the sales team with technical input, proposals, and deal closing
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in solar or renewable energy sales, with experience in a management role
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s licence
