Role (What You’ll Do & Why It Matters)
As the Project Manager, you will own full‑cycle delivery of large‑scale civil and environmental construction projects. You’ll be the central decision‑maker who connects design intent, technical execution, regulatory requirements, and field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with outstanding quality.

Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Lead project startup, permitting coordination, and construction management planning
- Develop and manage budgets, tenders, schedules, risk assessments, and project controls
- Oversee design clarifications, feasibility reviews, cost/benefit analysis, and planning
- Manage contracts, change orders, milestone tracking, and monthly reporting
Field & Technical Leadership
- Support field execution by partnering with Superintendents and subcontractors to remove roadblocks
- Verify quantities, Quality Control results, earthworks progress and civil infrastructure
- Coordinate grading plans, haul routes, liner systems, testing, compaction, and as‑built documentation
- Ensure safety planning is built into all phases of execution
Stakeholder & Team Alignment
- Facilitate client meetings, consultant coordination, and contractor interface
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with partners, current and potential clients.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with internal and external stakeholders
Strategic & Sales Support
- Support pursuit work including scope definition, risk registers, and constructability reviews
- Provide input to proposals, bid summaries, and service offering recommendations
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, Building Technology, or similar
- 5 -10 years of relevant project management experience
- Strong experience in civil earthworks, utilities, grading, and environmental construction
- Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, field QA/QC, testing, and documentation
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Landfill construction experience (cell construction, liner systems, leachate/stormwater systems)
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience working with Indigenous communities
- Strong communication and client‑relationship skills
- Advanced ability to anticipate risks and manage competing priorities
Working Conditions
- Full‑time, salaried position
- 50% office / 50% field
- Travel and occasional overtime required
- Safety‑sensitive role (fitness for duty + alcohol/drug testing required)
