We are excited to announce the opening of XNRGY’s new Technology Headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, in 2025, and our second location in early 2026! As part of our U.S. expansion, we are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator - Environmental Focus. In this role, you will help refine environmental programs, including air permit compliance, and work to identify and mitigate workplace hazards to protect both employees and the environment. You will also support the Health and Safety Specialist with day-to-day tasks. This position is ideal for candidates looking to broaden their HSE expertise and gain valuable experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
An overview of your responsibilities:
- System and Program Development: Refine, implement, and maintain our HSE System along with policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. (CFR1910, CFR1926, & CFR40)

Training and Education: Refine, implement, and give training on our HSE learning and development program for all employees.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and HR departments to promote a culture of environmental compliance, safety, and health throughout the organization.

Environmental Program Refinement: Working closely with the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for refining air permit compliance, hazardous waste profiles, waste categorizations, and implementing LEAN manufacturing concepts to HSE.

Risk Assessment: assist in the generation of risk assessments and safety/environmental audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and maintain necessary documentation and reporting.

Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and implement environmental sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Work Schedule
The work schedule for this role is 5 x 8 Hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays needed to support the organization
What you'll need, among other things!
- With a High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3+ years of experience in Health / Safety / Environmental practice
- With an HSE Related Associates/Batchelor’s Degree
- No Experience Required
- Strong Written, Verbal and Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Must Be Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite & Android/iOS
- Working Knowledge and Experience in CFR40 (Federal Environmental Regulations)
- Especially Air Permit Compliance, Visual Emissions, Hazardous Waste Lists and Spill Containment and Control
What we Appreciate!
- Experience with making signage in software like Microsoft Publisher, Canva, Etc.
- Experience in 29 CFR 1910 / 1926 and Other Relevant Health and Safety Regulations.
- Experience Generating Training
- Ability to speak in public to a large and diverse workforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish or French)
- Certifications are a plus! (RCRA 8/16, EPA Visible Emissions, DOT, HAZWOPER Etc.)
