Purpose:
Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for Santa Clara, CA location in environmental anthropology, including collaborative ethnography, to teach undergraduate courses; develop an outstanding research program that can accommodate participation of undergraduates; engage in service to the department, College and University, and fulfill other related instructional or academic duties.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Anthropology, Cultural Studies, or a closely related field at time of appointment; a research plan with promise of publication in relevant peer-reviewed venues; and effective university level teaching in lower and upper division classes at the time of appointment.
