Position Summary
Keyera is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sustainability Advisor (Temporary 13-month term) to join our team in Calgary. Reporting to the Team Lead, Sustainability Integration, this role plays a critical part in advancing our sustainability efforts by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Business Development and Engineering.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of sustainability tools, analysis and storytelling while supporting Keyera’s strategic initiatives. This role will embed sustainability practices across the organization and help shape the business sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities
GHG & Carbon Credits Stewardship: Oversee the management and continuous improvement of Keyera's Corporate GHG Emissions & Carbon Credits Models.
Asset Integration: Support impact assessment of acquired assets on the Corporate GHG Emissions model and the corporate target.
Trend Reporting: Produce monthly internal sustainability "headlights" reports to raise internal awareness and drive capacity building.
Project Evaluations: Work closely with cross-functional teams to share Sustainability feedback, including GHG emission cost impacts, to project teams.
Third Party Verification: Support verification of Keyera’s 2025 emissions intensity performance by coordinating documentation and responses to verifier inquiries.
Sustainability Report: Collaborate with the project manager to coordinate data and content collection, and contribute to drafting and editing report sections as needed.
Internal Communications: Develop presentations and reports to communicate sustainability findings to both peers and senior leaders, helping embed sustainability into organizational decision-making.
Industry Benchmarking & Intelligence: Conduct competitor intelligence, and market research to distill sustainability insights and industry trends.
Best Practices: Support the implementation of sustainability best practices across the organization.
Other activities as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, proactive individual who enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders and tackling complex challenges. Key qualifications include:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience, ideally in roles such as Corporate Strategy/Planning, Business Development, Sustainability, Regulatory Compliance, or Engineering within the energy sector.
Proven ability in excel modeling & data analysis with high attention to detail.
Strong ability to translate technical knowledge into clear written & verbal communication materials.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize information from various sources and deliver actionable strategic insights.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with modeling tools and data management software
Professional designations such as CFA, CPA, CBV, or P. Eng is an asset but not required.
Experience in GHG Emissions compliance regulations is an asset but not required.
