Civil Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings for

plant infrastructure (layouts, foundations, trenches, control rooms) using CAD
<\/div>
software, ensuring accuracy, compliance with codes (IS, etc.), and coordination
<\/div>
with engineers to support construction and preparing Material Take -Off (MTO),
<\/div>
create as -built plans, focusing on efficient, code -compliant designs. Essential
<\/div>
qualifications include proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD and a strong
<\/div>
understanding of civil structures and civil drawings, and good problem -solving
<\/div>
and communication skills.

Design and Drafting:
<\/div>
â Use CAD (Computer -Aided Design) software to produce technical plans
<\/div>
and blueprints
<\/div>
â Prepare building layouts, substructure Structural drawings like
<\/div>
foundation drawing, & superstructure drawings like beam layout,
<\/div>
column layout & their reinforcement details
<\/div>
â Prepare different section views as per requirement / clarity purpose
<\/div>
â Prepare and update civil drawings, schematics, and layouts as per client
<\/div>
requirement

â Prepare Material Take Off (MTO)
<\/div>
â Prepare Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, as -built drawings, and
<\/div>
maintain drawing control/logs
<\/div>
â Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings as per requirement
<\/div>
Technical Compliance:
<\/div>
â Review project requirements, specifications, and design concepts from
<\/div>
engineers to ensure accuracy
<\/div>
â Ensure drawings and designs comply with project specifications, industry
<\/div>
standards, codes, and regulations
<\/div>
Collaboration and Support:
<\/div>
â Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team
<\/div>
members to resolve design issues and implement solutions
<\/div>
â Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineering
<\/div>
team

Documentation and Record Keeping:

â Maintain accurate records of design changes and follow document
<\/div>
control procedures
<\/div>
â Prepare and assemble comprehensive documentation packages

Quality Assurance:

â Perform quality checks on drawings for function, fit, and submission
