What You’ll Do- Lead the permitting process end-to-end, including strategic planning, risk management, task sequencing, and final submission.
- Prepare and submit complete application packages while reviewing baseline studies and management plans from internal teams and external consultants.
- Coordinate environmental baseline programs, field logistics, and post-approval compliance scheduling and reporting.
- Manage information requests, maintain permitting trackers, and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Lead engagement and consultation with regulators, Indigenous governments, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Support proposal development, RFPs, budgeting, scheduling, and change requests.
- Assist U.S. colleagues on projects requiring NEPA, NPDES, and Section 404 permitting.
What You’ll Bring- Expertise in mining environmental permitting and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, invoicing, and proposal writing.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities for managing multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with regulators and Indigenous partners.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and mining, with at least 5 years focused on mine-site permitting and compliance.
- Familiarity with environmental studies, baseline programs, field logistics, and compliance for water, wetlands, and species considerations.
- Ability to work across diverse jurisdictions and support U.S. permitting frameworks when needed.
