Solarplaza is looking for an Event Management Intern (32 to 40 hours per week)

As our Event Management Intern, you will work closely with a supportive team, helping to plan and execute global conferences that contribute to a cleaner energy future. At Solarplaza, we organize high-quality international B2B summits where industry leaders come together to exchange knowledge and build partnerships in renewable energy. We are a small team of 40+ people from 15+ countries, working from our headquarters in Rotterdam. We are driven by a shared mission to help accelerate the transition to renewable energy, and we achieve this by facilitating meaningful connections and sharing insights at our events.

Your role and mission
Support project managers in organizing both virtual and in-person solar conferences.
Assist in designing conference programs by researching key topics and engaging leading industry experts.
Source and coordinate speakers, ensuring timely communication and alignment.
Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to gather and deliver content on deadline.
Monitor event budgets and track sales/costs.
Conduct stakeholder mapping for enhanced engagement and collaboration.
Manage badge systems and support smooth on-site execution.
Support the team with overall process improvement and template updates.
