DescriptionAs a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for selling our renewables digital portfolio (Openwind, Windographer, Homer Front, Wind Navigator, wind resource data and maps, HOMER Pro and Grid) to wind developers, utilities, IPP’s and engineering firms.
Identify prospective new customers and collaborate with software product leads to establish and nurture positive business relationships, presenting the complete software suite. Inbound and outbound activities
Introduce and present the different portfolio product offerings to potential customers as well as follow up with trials and other inbound leads and requests, with the goal of closing sales.
Contribute to the development of strategy for the assigned specialized software products/services by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc. to product / service manager
Maintain an ongoing plan to prioritize the portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year, identifying opportunities for software renewal. Perform product demos and advise customers on how to integrate software into an existing IT environment
Maintain ongoing relationships after the initial sale has closed in order to effectively convert this into software renewals and expansion to additional products
Collaborates with Solution Architects in gathering customer requirements
Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support sales opportunities of assigned specialty products/services
Provide client feedback and requests to the product teams
Collaborate with counterparts in other segments to identify and exploit synergies from existing clients. Establish regular channels of communication.
Attend regular departmental and team meetings; participate as appropriate in regular industry groups such as required.

QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of B2B related software sales experience
Experience in digital offerings within the renewable industry is highly desirable
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong English proficiency is a must
Work effectively with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
Ability to maintain good relationships with clients
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
Successful completion of a background screening process
