What impact you’ll make:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Product Owner to join our team. This is a key role in relation to the Power GenAI vision and strategy and will be critical to lead the scale up, expansion and implementation of GenAI programs across multiple business functions and value-streams. The role will leverage a blend of deep technology acumen in GenAI and deep business process acumen/expertise to manage the conceptualization, delivery and validation, of multi- generational AI programs. This person will collaborate with the AI Program Managers to lead customer success for the implemented programs, drive continuous improvement, and enable business value realization. This role is expected to work closely with senior leadership stakeholders within business functions and IT, as well as functional Subject mMatter Experts (SMEs), data scientists, AI architects, Agile AI POD teams etc., to foster and drive close collaboration, innovation and delivery efficiencies.
Job Description
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with AI Program Managers, business functional SMEs and senior leaders within Gas Power functions as well as GEV AI Foundry to build the strategic vision, objectives and multi-generational program roadmap for AI initiatives aligned with organizational strategic goals and Hoshin.
Lead the planning, prioritization, technical execution and delivery of AI projects using SAFE principles, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes in collaboration with Power DSAI and AI Foundry technical teams.
Team Leadership, Collaboration & Managing Stakeholder Expectations:
Lead program execution across cross-functional agile teams comprising data scientists, software engineers, architects, Responsible AI analysts and Quality assurance, while driving strong collaboration across multiple technical teams across Power IT and GEV AI Foundry in a way that balances speed, reusability and minimizes technical debt.
Implement best practices in program management, including resource allocation, risk management, scope changes, say-do-ratio & quality management.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience in IT and data analytics, or equivalent experience/ knowledge.
