What impact you’ll make:
The Sr Director -PMO & Initiatives for Power IT function is responsible for, but not limited to, driving a transformational strategy for Power IT. This will include defining and maintaining a roadmap to ensure a strategic end state for the Gas Power Digital Technology portfolio, defining tools and processes to manage program investment, ensure lean-agile project management methodologies, enable culture of driving productivity in IT development. In this role, you will work closely with all the CIOs supporting a diverse set of functional groups including, but not limited to, Product Line leadership, Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Services and Finance to achieve program excellence. This is an important position with a high degree of visibility and representation in terms of driving transformation to meet efficiency and business outcome targets. This role is a people leader role and will be required to influence and work horizontally across all teams and Functions.
Job Description
Transformation: Operate as a transformational leader to lead, influence, and communicate the strategic vision and actions of Gas Power IT and Vernova DT across the CIOs. Develop a roadmap that aligns to a strategic end state for the GP DT portfolio of programs.
Budget: Proactively drive GPIT SII/OP plan rhythm for our program spend. Ensure that GP DT is making proper investment decisions based on DCF, NPV, business benefits, etc
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is typically required, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
