Zenith is seeking to hire an Accounts Officer to join a forward-thinking finance team of innovative individuals.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Officer will manage complex, fast-paced accounts payable and accounts receivable functions daily.
The role is also responsible for overseeing vendor relationships and engaging stakeholders to ensure the timely processing of all tasks while maintaining strong communication with internal and external parties.
What You will Do
- Vendor/Customer Setup
- Manage accounts payable inbox and high volume of vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely entry of invoices, credit notes, and payments.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and statements.
- Conduct weekly payment runs and fortnightly debtor reports.
- Perform month-end entries and address stakeholder queries.
- Execute three-way matching of invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
About You
As the Account's Officer, you will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills to bring to the role.
Experience
- 6+ years' Accounts Payable and Receivable
- High Volume processing
- Exposure to Staff reimbursements and Company Credit Card transactions.
- Pronto or ExpenseMe Pro experience would be desirable
Skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills in financial processing and reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to promptly resolve discrepancies and queries.
- Skilled in prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping team members updated on progress.
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Certifications
A Certificate/Diploma in Accounting would be desirable
