What impact you’ll make:

The Enterprise Solutions team deploys, enhances and manages all ERP platforms in the GE Vernova Power segment. Our versatile team boasts unique expertise across enterprise technology platforms and business processes. As a key member of the Enterprise Solutions Enablement team, you will help lead the charge in simplifying the ERP landscape, transforming with Cloud-native technology and operationalizing AI within our systems.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Proactively and holistically lead, consult and/or oversee multiple data migration and data conversion engagements across the Power Enterprise Solutions IT organization in response to disruptive trends and execution of change toward the desired business vision and outcomes

Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying data conversion requirements

Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, including Agentic and Generative AI, industry and market trends to accelerate data migration and data conversion engagements.

Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources.

Work with technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan.

Cooperate with and manage external vendors as

Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary.

Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as .

Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience, or equivalent knowledge.

A minimum of 5 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within IT program/product areas.
2 years of ERP experience , should have worked in ERP ( SAP/Oracle ) as a functional or technical expert and have knowledge of Business Processes

Ability to understand, process, and interpret data to extract insights and communicate findings effectively to support business decisions.

Experience with ERP processes in a manufacturing environment and an understanding of ERP integrations with other satellite systems.

Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization. Influences and energizes others toward the common vision and goal.

Maintains excitement for a process and drives to new directions of meeting the goal even when odds and setbacks render one path impassable.

Strong global team player. Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals.

Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies and / or industry activities.

Ability to manage third party partner teams to drive successful business outcomes.

Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices. Finds important patterns in seemingly unrelated information.
