As a CAD design environment programming engineer, you will be responsible for developing new internal tools/flows and/or enhancing existing flows in various areas such as electrical circuit checks which would confirm whether design circuits meet required specifications. You will be interacting with not only the global CAD team but also global design and verification teams to ensure that the tools and flows have been correctly developed and compatible with the design environment and meets the needs of the designers and verification engineers. You will also be directly supporting the designers and engineers when the need arises and interacting with external EDA vendors for driving new development and trouble-shooting issues where external tools are involved.

グローバルCADチームをはじめとして、各サイトの設計・検証チームと連携し、必要とする検証機能やフローを明確化し、プログラムを開発・リリースします。また、設計環境の互換性を維持しながら設計・検証チームが必要とするフローを運用・改善します。必要に応じて設計・検証チームへの直接的なサポートを行います。社外EDAベンダーと関わり持ちながら、EDAツールの新規機能開発の推進、及び、課題解決に取り組みます。
- Develop internal tools and flows for various areas within the CAD design environment, including electrical circuit checks involving crosstalk, fan-out, capacitive loading, electromigration, and others.
- Work jointly with the global CAD members as necessary to develop these flows which will be released to all global design and verification organizations.
- Support design and verification teams globally with respect to training and troubleshooting issues they face.
- Propose new solutions based on feedback obtained from the design and verification teams.
- Interact with external EDA vendors to implement their tools in our flows, to push new development, and troubleshoot issues in their tools.
- Use agentic AI to assist in developing these flows, and/or implement AI agents in the flows themselves.
- CAD設計環境において、クロストーク、ファンアウト、負荷容量、エレクトロマイグレーションなど電気回路検証領域に対応する社内ツールおよびフローを開発する。
- 必要に応じてグローバルCADメンバーと協力し、全世界の設計・検証グループに提供すべき機能やフローを開発する。
- 設計及び検証チームに対し、トレーニングや問題解決の為のサポートをグローバルに提供する。
- 設計・検証チームから得られたフィードバックに基づき、検証品質改善や効率化の為の新しいソリューションを提案する。
- 外部EDAベンダーと連携し、EDAツールを当社フローに組み込み、新規開発を推進し、ツールに関する問題をトラブルシューティングする。
- これらのフロー開発を支援するためにエージェント型AIを活用し、またはフロー自体にAIエージェントを実装する。
Knowledge and experience in the following:
- Experience working with chip design environments, especially using schematic and layout design tools.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor process technology.
- Experience in programming in Python and Cadence SKILL, with perl and C/C++ also a plus.
- Experience in using AI agents to assist in the various necessary tasks.
- Willingness to learn the above items if experience is limited.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- CAD設計環境、特に回路図およびレイアウト設計ツールの使用。

- 特に、PythonとCadence SKILLでのプログラミングの経験。また、perlとC/C++もプラスです。
