As a Right of Way Agent supporting projects across western Iowa, you will help deliver energy and utility progress throughout the region. Your work ensures developers gain the access they need while landowners feel informed, valued, and protected.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Canton, Ohio, Halo is a nationally recognized land services firm that supports major pipeline, utility, and infrastructure initiatives with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency. Our agents are the boots on the ground that keep essential projects moving with minimal friction and maximum respect.
What a Day Looks Like
Your morning begins by reviewing updated tract status for a renewable transmission project west of Des Moines. You identify priority outreach items, prepare communication materials, and begin connecting with landowners to explain the project and discuss cooperation opportunities.
Later, you meet a landowner in the field to walk a proposed route, listen to concerns, and review compensation terms. In the afternoon, you document your progress, update negotiation logs, and collaborate with survey and legal stakeholders to finalize access paths that work for everyone involved.
Every conversation you lead and every agreement you secure supports reliable energy delivery and community growth throughout western Iowa.
