● Develop and execute the business development strategy for residential and
commercial rooftop markets.
● Identify and generate leads through market research, partnerships, and networking.
● Drive end-to-end sales processes: site visits, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
● Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
● Manage pipeline and reporting through CRM tools.
● Forge strategic partnerships with RWAs, developers, architects, and consultants.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
● Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor moves.
● Represent company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
● 6–10 years in solar sales or business development (rooftop/distributed preferred)
● Proven track record of closing 100kW+ rooftop projects
● Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
● Strong industry network and channel partner connections
● Familiarity with CRM tools and solar sector regulations
