The principal responsibilities shall essentially include:

- To deliver projects within the allocated time and budget.
<\/div>
- Design and engineering of DC and AC side electrical systems of MW scale solar PV and rooftop. This shall include developing electrical schemes and PV plant layout detailing such as DC Cable routine layouts, DC Grouping.
<\/div>
- Shall be able to do detailed designs of solar plants, including MV system (upto 33kV).
<\/div>
- Conducting lightning risk assessment, performing lighting calculations and conductor selection as per the national/ international code.
<\/div>
- Preparing general technical specifications, design basis reports, and memorandum.
<\/div>
- Conduct and review short circuit current, Load Flow calculation to finalize equipment ratings and sizes.
<\/div>
- Cable sizing - String Cable, Power Cable (DC and AC) sizing & calculation; Control Cable sizing, length Calculations and cable accessories selections, Design of cable trenches and underground raceways analysis.
<\/div>
- Design the protection system including sizing Calculations for the protection Fuse, Connectors, SCB, SPD all DC and all other equipment of solar PV plant as per IEC, IS, IEEE standards.
<\/div>
- Auxiliary Load calculation AC & DC and designing schematic diagram of auxiliary loads. Performing illumination sizing calculations, Ventilation calculations, Fire alarm system for the Buildings and open fields of Solar PV array.
<\/div>
- Design and engineering of all the aspects of inverter stations, MV transformer stations, MV Switching stations, Utility metering systems etc.
<\/div>
- Able to understand and Validate Power Conversion Unit (PCS) or Solar PV inverter component, BOQ and Site accessories.
<\/div>
- Consultancy / EPC background with exposure to utility scale solar PV projects shall be desirable.
<\/div>
- MS office, Dialux tools is essential.
<\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>
- In -depth knowledge of solar market and various policy frameworks.
<\/div>
- An understanding of the key technical and commercial aspects of solar projects.
<\/div>
- Expert knowledge of solar energy technology and overall Projects lifecycle.
<\/div>
- Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies in renewable energy market.
<\/div>
- Ability to quantify risk and opportunities in due diligence projects and new design & PV technologies.
<\/div>
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to produce high -quality technical reports within predefined deadline.
<\/div>
- Familiar with international standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards;
<\/div>
- Technical background in modules, inverters and/or battery technology will be a plus.
<\/div>
- Hands on experience in Solar PV yield prediction softwares like PVSyst, Helios, Aurora, PVSol etc.
<\/div>
- Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for analysing statistical data.
<\/div>
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi -disciplined team.
<\/div>
- Strong management capabilities.
<\/div>
- Competent user of main Microsoft packages.
<\/div>
- Contribute to continual development of team’s functional and operational requirements through solar engineering standards, toolsets and work processes.

- Previous experience working in consultancy and / or project development environment
