Job Summary:
The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Assistant ManagerProcurement (O&M) and central coordination, Asset Management, who will help candi to lead the revolution of solar. Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.
Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the Indian AM team: • Identify procurement requirements based on project, operational, and business needs
• Source vendors and suppliers through RFQs, RFPs, and negotiations
• Evaluate vendor quotations based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure approval as per company policies
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, finance, project, and operations teams
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials/services
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and statutory requirements • Maintain supplier database, purchase records, and MIS reports
• Support vendor development and performance evaluation
• Coordinate for necessary payments with Finance team against the vendor invoices received
• Assist in cost optimization, value engineering, and budget control initiatives
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, and billing discrepancies
Location: Mumbai
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management
• MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain / Operations is a plus
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
• Experience in infrastructure, manufacturing, EPC, renewable energy, or industrial sectors is an
advantage
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes and commercial terms
• Ability to analyze costs and prepare comparative statements
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• High attention to detail and compliance orientation
