Job Description:
Position Overview
This position is responsible for identifying opportunities and driving improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) risk at the location level. This role is corporate based, working to implement programs, processes and procedures within its respective business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support locations in execution of EHS Management Systems, Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF) initiatives, and Life Critical Policies through education and training, auditing, coaching and leading.
- Provide strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
- Assist with the development of business unit EHS policies and procedures.
- Provide incident investigation support and lead those classified as Red Risk.
- Ensure operations activities incorporate all necessary auditing, monitoring, reporting and inspections to comply with standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- EHS Degree preferred
- 5-10 years’ relevant experience required; previous grain handling/rail experience preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and/or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification preferred
- Up to 30% travel is required
