Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Manager I, the incumbent assists the Stormwater Coordinator to plan and schedule the work required in the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), State Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) and all other related issues regarding stormwater compliance. Conduct TBMP inspections and monitor TBMP conditions so they are corrected year‑round. Document inspections in IMMS and create service requests for needed repairs. Collaborate with Maintenance Support Stormwater Coordinator for contract and purchase support in TBMP field forces repairs. In the field the incumbent will inspect Stormwater related facility and activities throughout the District. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: TBMP inspections, documentation and recommendations.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
