BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, or technical discipline or related field.
8+ years of progressive and related professional Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and RCP’s EHS related regulations and procedures.
Working knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and policies including OSHA, SARA, Title V air, waste, wastewater and storm water.
- General knowledge of GMP, HACCP, AIB and SQF requirements.
Requires thorough understanding of EHS objectives, procedures, and policies.
- Demonstrated legislation knowledge and regulatory compliance.
Strong communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and creative skills to deal both objectively and empathetically with organizational and labor/management challenges.
Demonstrated professional with passion for change and relentless focus on execution
Ability to train others. Previous experience and/or knowledge of various training methodologies.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Management, supervisory and coaching experience
Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams
