GE Vernova is seeking a strategic Lean-Agile Leader to take up the role of Release Train Engineer to play a pivotal role in driving our DS Agile ART (Agile Release Train). The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is the servant leader and coach for an Agile Release Train (ART) operating in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) context. This role orchestrates planning, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams to deliver customer and business value aligned to solution strategy while ensuring on time delivery (OTD), within scope and budget and of desired quality. The RTE partners closely with Product Management, System Architecture/Engineering, Business Owners, and Scrum Masters. This role is process- and flow-focused (not a content authority) and enables decentralized decision-making, relentless improvement, and high-performing teams.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for GA NPI Business Reviews, ART events: PI Planning (including readiness), ART Sync (Scrum of Scrums and PO Sync), System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
- Ensure effective preparation (vision, prioritized epics, ART capacity, enablers, dependencies, risks) and follow-through (PI objectives, plans, ROAMed risks, improvement items).
- Establish and manage the Program Board to visualize and optimize flow from discovery to delivery; help limit WIP and reduce bottlenecks.
- Coordinate cross-team and external dependencies; maintain dependency boards and facilitate resolution.
- Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders in Lean-Agile and SAFe principles, roles, and practices.
- Partner with ART Product Owner, System Architect and internal stakeholders (PSL, CTH) to align scope, sequencing, and readiness criteria.
- Track execution against PI Objectives and epic/milestone commitments; drive impediment removal and escalation paths. Define, collect, and socialize meaningful metrics (e.g., velocity, SDR, quality and defect trends etc..) and provide clear status reporting and risk visibility to stakeholders.
- Facilitate risk management, champion built-in quality practices, Definition of Done, and nonfunctional requirements.
- Promote DevOps and Continuous Delivery Pipeline maturity (continuous exploration, integration, deployment, release on demand).
- Coordinate with other ARTs and RTEs in case of dependencies; support Pre- and Post-PI Planning and the Solution Demo.
- Ensure consistent program-level tooling (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Git, Jenkins) for consistent work item hierarchy, traceability, and reporting.
- Responsible for multi-PI view, Release Plan, Budgeting & Scheduling. Align delivery plans with business readiness, change management, and support models.
- Responsible for On Time Delivery & Quality KPIs at ART level
