As a Data Engineer on Invenergy’s Enterprise Analytics & AI team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers enterprise-wide analytics and AI solutions. This role is essential to enabling efficient, reliable, and secure access to data for business users, data scientists, and application developers. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology teams to implement modern data architecture, streamline data workflows, and support the deployment of scalable machine learning models.
Work with domain experts across the organization to develop data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and curate data from various structured and unstructured sources to support the efforts of the Enterprise Business Analysts and Data Scientists.
Required Skills(Data Engineer III)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles with demonstrated success in production-level data systems; or an advanced degree with 2+ years of directly relevant experience.
Preferred Skills (Data Engineer III)
Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, including feature engineering, data labeling, and model serving infrastructure.
Required Skills (Senior Data Engineer)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles with demonstrated success in production-level data systems; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of directly relevant experience.
Preferred Skills (Senior Data Engineer)
Familiarity with the energy sector, especially renewable generation, storage, grid operations, or asset performance data.
Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, including feature engineering, data labeling, and model serving infrastructure.
$100,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
