Who are YOU?
You are a hydrogeologist with at least four years of experience, with a desire to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state and local environmental agencies. You will be willing to work in our downtown Chicago office, collaborating with scientists and project managers who are experts in risk assessment, hydrogeology, geology, chemistry, soil science, sampling and analysis, hazardous waste investigations, remediation, and public outreach.
What does your day/week look like?
- Collecting samples of various environmental media (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, etc.)
- Overseeing installation of groundwater monitoring well systems and in-situ groundwater remediation systems
- Evaluating and preparing remediation work plans, designs and reports
- Report writing and oversight of field investigation/remediation activities
- Evaluating site documentation for compliance with federal, state and local standards
