Summary: The Sanitation Attendant position is mainly responsible for keeping the park grounds free of trash and debris as well as maintaining the cleanliness of various shelters and bathrooms around the park. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned- Pickup and removal of all loose paper on park grounds.
- Emptying of all assigned trash cans.
- Emptying of all assigned recycle bins.
- Removal of all debris, which includes tree branches, tires, dead animals, furniture, car parts and any other unwanted debris that is left on park grounds.
- Cleaning and maintenance of all shelters.
- Cleaning and maintenance of bathrooms.
- Cleaning and maintenance of Dog Park.
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Cleaning of drains and catch basins.
qualifications and education requirementsHigh School diploma or GED. A valid Louisiana driver’s license.
