Job Description Summary
The Plant ITR Electrical and Controls Engineering Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end customer solutions for extended scope Aeroderivative power plants and ensuring a smooth plant integration of Equipment Only projects whether self-implemented or executed in partnership with EPCs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a team of Electrical and Controls systems experts, ultimately creating a safe, inspirational, and inclusive workplace that enables the team to achieve its purpose. This leader will drive the team’s wing-to-wing ITR responsibilities spanning from Pre-ITO to OTR ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance. As the Leader, you will own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes & standard works for projects implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver world-class solutions for extended scope projects, and flawless plant integration of equipment-only projects into our customer’s plant.
- Provide leadership and technical direction for Electrical and Controls in development of competitive proposals ensuring successful project execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Engineering, Product Line, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful project outcomes that meet customer and business expectations. Drive external collaboration with suppliers, subcontractors and EPCs
- Drive initiatives that respond to customer needs and market dynamics, ensuring differentiation, competitiveness, and execution excellence.
- Develop, execute, and maintain a measurable technical training plan to increase team’s technical expertise, with focus on both extended and non-extended scope projects, defining proper interfaces and terminal points for internal and external partners.
- Ensure the team develops and monitors project engineering schedule and budget, Tracks and prioritizes resolution of project action items and critical technical issues, and integrates the customer, partner and GE engineering schedules into overall project schedule.
- Support and contribute expertise with reviews customer specifications and communicates contract and project requirements to all design functions utilizing internal documentation systems.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Inspire and develop technical and project leadership talent within the team.
- Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of ITR processes, standard works, and lean workflows that enhance quality, speed, and consistency.
- Establish KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms to ensure process discipline and data-driven decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance on technical solution development and risk mitigation across the project lifecycle.
- Lead with a Lean mindset—promoting simplification, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.
- Champion compliance, ethics, and a zero-compromise approach to safety in all activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Controls Engineering.
- A Minimum of 8 years of power plant engineering experience, particularly in balance of plant Electrical and Controls systems and equipment, Proposal development and execution and fulfilment.
Desired Characteristics
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in applications or project engineering, rotating equipment, packaging and modularization of Electrical and Controls equipment, and power industry.
- Strong Aero Derivative Turbine Technology experience
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in the execution of large-scale, complex power or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in both proposal development and project execution (ITO and OTR), with knowledge of balance of plant systems, customer requirements, and project delivery strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, drive process transformation, and implement standard work frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled in applying Lean tools to improving business operations
