Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager - Sustainability to lead and enhance the company's sustainability strategy, ensuring compliance with global standards and driving impactful initiatives. This role involves policy development, performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate sustainability, ESG frameworks, and stakeholder management to align the company’s sustainability goals with business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and refine sustainability policies, action plans, and gap analyses to align with business and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct materiality assessments that integrate corporate and stakeholder perspectives to prioritize sustainability efforts.
- Identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and provide technical input to enhance environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
- Monitor monthly sustainability performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
- Draft and review corporate sustainability reports in compliance with GRI, CDP, DJSI, and other global standards.
- Support the group-level sustainability reporting and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Prepare and manage sustainability assurance processes with third-party auditors.
- Oversee and coordinate corporate sustainability assessments and related certifications.
- Serve as the primary sustainability contact within the company, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, investors, and customers to enhance sustainability impact.
- Review and respond to grievances and complaints related to sustainability matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG, or environmental/social impact projects.
- Familiarity with global sustainability frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, CDP, UN SDGs, UNGC, OECD, ASC, MSC, and environmental footprinting is preferred.
- Ability to drive sustainability initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong data-driven approach to sustainability performance evaluation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to assess risks and develop innovative sustainability solutions.
- Stay updated with global sustainability trends and regulatory changes.
- Fluent in Thai and English to coordinate with international and local stakeholders.
