In consulting and engineering services for thermal and renewable energy power plants, we are one of the market leaders both in the SE Asia region and globally.
In line with our increasing business, we are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for Renewable Energy Consultant positions in our energy business in Bangkok, Thailand.
Job Description
· Prepare conceptual design and feasibility studies for solar PV, power systems and potentially other renewable power projects
· Prepare technical due diligence for potential acquisition of solar PV, and other renewable power projects.
· Prepare energy yield analysis for solar PV and potentially hybrid system
· Assist clients with solar PV EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, and renewable power project development in general, including proposal support and client presentations.
· Act as lenders engineer in solar PV projects for pre-financial close technical due diligence, construction monitoring and operations monitoring.
· Participate in site visits, client meetings, and regional workshops as required.
Qualifications
· Higher professional degree in engineering field relevant for solar PV projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
· Good technical understanding of solar PV technology, with BESS technologies and hybrid system architectures is a plus
· Ability to contribute to business development, proposals and technical reports as part of the consulting team
· Fluent in Thai and English
· Good experience with project development for PV Solar, experience with other renewable project is a plus with good exposure to technical advisory, TDD, EYA, and O&M monitoring.
· Experience with energy modeling/optimization tools (e.g., PVsyst, HOMER, MATLAB, or similar)
