Location: Perth, Midwest, Pilbara, (FIFO from any state in Australia)
Rate: $70–$95/hour (depending on accommodation, vehicle, and experience)
Employment Type: Casual (with long-term and full-time options available after probation)

About the Role
Guma Wagagu Australia (GWA) is seeking highly skilled and motivated Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Accredited Battery Installers with a current WA Electrical License to join our growing team. This is a long-term opportunity to work on high-impact renewable energy projects across the Midwest, Pilbara, and Perth regions.
We offer FIFO options from any state in Australia, and work with major resource and industrial clients. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that values quality, safety, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
• Install and commission grid-connected battery systems (SAA accredited)
• Execute electrical works on renewable energy projects
• Plan and organise electrical tasks and project execution strategies
• Participate in safety toolbox and prestart meetings
• Upload daily and weekly KPI data to track performance
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
• Maintain high standards of customer service and workmanship
Requirements
• WA Electrical License (A Grade)
• SAA Grid Battery Accreditation
• Demonstrated experience installing grid-connected batteries
• FIFO flexibility from any Australian state
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience on sites highly regarded
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
• Willingness to go the extra mile and contribute to a high-performance culture
Desirable Qualifications
• Additional electrical tickets and competencies
• Experience in renewables, civil, or industrial sectors
• Familiarity with data tracking and reporting systems
