Assistant Manager Department: Design (Solar)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Design to join our renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing ground-mounted solar PV systems and a strong understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and project execution. Candidates with experience in both Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop layouts for ground-mounted solar PV systems using industrystandard software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope). Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and energy yield simulations. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and bill of materials (BOM). Collaborate with project, procurement, and execution teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. Ensure compliance with national and international codes, standards, and safety regulations. Optimize system design for performance, cost, and reliability. Support technical documentation, client presentations, and design approvals. Coordinate with vendors and consultants for technical evaluations and design validations. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering. Proven experience in designing ground-mounted solar PV systems.
