DescriptionThe Sustainability Analyst will work closely with the Global Sustainability Team on all aspects of Samsonite’s global sustainability program. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization operates in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. This position will have a high potential for internal growth for someone with a passion for corporate sustainability/ESG and a strong interest in working collaboratively with colleagues across a diverse global company. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, environmental expertise, and business acumen to drive meaningful change and achieve our sustainability goals. This role will report to our Associate Manager, Sustainability. This is a hybrid role, we work on site 4 days and remotely 1 day, weekly.
Essential Functions
Data, Reporting & Disclosures
- Help manage and further evolve our sustainability reporting and support annual sustainability data collection.
- Analyze and synthesize ESG data for performance tracking and reporting purposes.
- Support the creation of the annual ESG Report and other regulatory and voluntary sustainability disclosures.
- Support the sustainability assurance process.
- Conduct research and benchmarking and track corporate sustainability best practices and trends.
- Help prepare ad hoc reporting requirements.
Software & Systems
- Administer our sustainability software for data collection.
- Serve as the key contact for internal partners to assist them with data input, troubleshooting, and reporting functionality within systems.
Other Workstreams
- Support the development of strategies, goals, and action plans.
- Help to coordinate sustainability projects with internal stakeholders and external consultants across topic areas in our Product, Planet and People pillars.
- Develop presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences.
- Help advance our sustainability communications/marketing across brands, including for employee engagement
- Support the team in any other task, including admin tasks, as needed.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a sustainability or business role (e.g., consulting; market research; data analysis)
- Experience in ESG reporting; data management, including regulatory and voluntary disclosures such as CSRD, ISSB, CDP etc.
- Experience in energy/environmental management, operations/supply chain management; would all be a plus.
- Ability to develop and articulate recommendations and strategic insights through the synthesis and prioritization of complex qualitative and quantitative information.
- Adept at managing, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data; Ability to navigate a variety of online and offline sources of data.
- Clearly demonstrated passion for sustainability and interest in working in a corporate environment
- Curious and open-minded; takes a learning mindset approach to work.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills: team-oriented, collaborative, and able to build working relationships with colleagues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; natural problem-solver

- Familiarity with MS Office, including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Skills and Industry Experience:
- Relevant Master’s degree (e.g., business, environmental studies/science, operations management)
- Foreign language proficiency and cross-cultural/international experience
- Ability to manage upwards within an organization.
- Understanding of change management concepts and experience working across multiple business functions and levels of an organization
