Key Responsibilities:
<\/h3>
Opportunity Development<\/b>:
<\/p>
Identify, create, and develop new and profitable opportunities in Solar, Wind, and Storage sectors.
<\/li>
Drive projects from the identification phase through to development, including greenfield, co\-development, and M&A opportunities.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
Feasibility and Analysis<\/b>:
<\/p>
Evaluate the economic and technical feasibility of potential projects.
<\/li>
Implement business development strategies in the UK, focusing on market analysis, opportunity assessment, and financial\/technical evaluations.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
Market Intelligence<\/b>:
<\/p>
Conduct country\-specific analysis and gather market intelligence.
<\/li>
Support in the preparation of internal and external documentation related to project analysis and development.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
Regional Strategy<\/b>:
<\/p>
Explore and analyze regional market needs and intelligence.
<\/li>
Identify key regional issues and integrate them into strategic planning for the region.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
Project Management<\/b>:
<\/p>
Assist in managing engineering studies, environmental impact assessments, and coordinating with technical staff.
<\/li>
Liaise with all project stakeholders, including government bodies, co\-developers, TSO\/DSO, landowners, and consultants.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
Due Diligence and Acquisition<\/b>:
<\/p>
Support project due diligence processes.
<\/li>
Assist in the closure of project acquisitions.
<\/li>
<\/ul><\/li>
<\/ol>Qualifications:
<\/h3>
Experience<\/b>: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the UK renewable energy sector.
<\/li>
Education<\/b>: BSc in Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A specialized masterâs degree or additional training in renewable energy is a plus.
<\/li>
Location<\/b>: Must be based in the UK or legally eligible to work in the UK.
<\/li>
<\/ul>Other Requirements:
<\/h3>
Willingness to travel frequently within the UK.
<\/li>
