VARO Energy is a dynamic, fast developing, integrated European downstream company launched in 2012. Our ambitious acquisition and integration strategy created a major energy company that cares for its customers across North-Western Europe. We have a solid background in traditional energies, with a refining capacity of 176,000 bbl./day and a total storage capacity of almost 2,5mio m3.
In the meantime, through our ONE VARO strategy, we are transforming ourselves into a leading energy transition company with a strong strategic focus on green hydrogen, bio-methane and bio-LNG, biofuels, carbon offsets and E-mobility. We are looking for a Manager Trading Operations Renewables to join our Biomethane Desk in our Rotterdam office.
THE POSITION
As a Manager Trading Operations - Renewables you will be joining the Biomethane Desk. Here, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful trading activities by managing and optimizing the biomethane portfolio in close collaboration with the Biogas Trader. Your responsibilities span the operational side of trading, where you act as the key interface between contract closure and invoicing. You ensure smooth execution of day-to-day trades by handling the associated administration and follow-up, while maintaining compliance with ISCC and RED certification standards and operating effectively within VISTA.
