Job: Application Engineer

The Opportunity
Our valued client is a global leader in distributing industrial automation, mobile machinery, and renewable energy products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers during both pre-sales and after-sales stages for geared motors and related products.
- Develop a strong understanding of geared motor functions, operations, and manuals to train sales staff, support product selection, and conduct technical training sessions for customers.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of application requirements (operation, installation, maintenance) to help customers with technical calculations and recommend optimal solutions.
- Use AutoCAD and specialized engineering software to prepare technical drawings and data sheets.
- Conduct on-site surveys at customer facilities to build product maps across various industries and applications.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Design, Quality, and Production) to resolve technical and product quality issues, including special design requests, maintenance, and warranty support.
- Review and validate product specifications before quotations are sent to customers by the sales team.
- Perform other technical tasks and assignments as required by management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Machinery/Manufacturing).
- Strong technical knowledge of electric motors and gearboxes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in machinery maintenance or equipment fabrication.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Good English proficiency (both written and spoken).
