What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Design, develop, and implement a new OD program aligned with business strategy and The Scout Way.
- Parter with HRBPs and business leaders to optimize the effectiveness of Scout Motors, Inc. through organizational diagnosis of people, systems, and structures.
- Conduct needs assessments and stakeholder interviews to inform program design.
- Define success metrics & evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative & quantitative data.
- Lead initiatives to assess and improve team effectiveness across the organization.
- Lead New Leader Integration program to ensure effective onboarding of new leaders to Scout Motors.
- Administer and interpret team assessments (e.g. DiSC, TKI, PCM, HBDI, Hogan, 360s, Psychogeometrics)
- Facilitate team development sessions, offsites, and workshops to build trust, collaboration and performance.
- Provide coaching and tools to leaders to foster high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Support organizational design efforts including structure analysis, role clarity, and workforce planning.
- Facilitate organizational design workshops and provide consultation on spans and layers, operating models, and team alignment.
- Lead and support change initiatives that impact people, processes, and culture.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and innovation.
- Collaborate with senior leader to ensure organizational structures support strategic goals and Scout standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and leadership development.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined and you are expected to relocate at such time. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City. #LI-Remote
- The responsibilities of this role requireattendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 12+ years progressive experience leading Organizational Development, Human Resources or Organizational Design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide programs.
- Strong knowledge of team effectiveness models and organizational design principles.
- Experience with assessment tools & methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience driving strategic initiatives that lead to measurable results.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across the organization.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and report on large data sets.
- Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to partner with cross-functional teams.
- Experience within a manufacturing organization or working with large hourly populations preferred but not required.
- Preferred certifications in assessment techniques typically used with teams to foster high-performing teams. (e.g. DiSC, TKI, PCM, HBDI, Hogan, 360s, Psychogeometrics)
- Preferred Team Coaching or Individual Coaching Certification (ICF, etc.)
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Development, HR Management, Psychology or business preferred.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
