Responsibilities include but are not limed to:
- Provide advanced knowledge and care for aquatic animals including amphibians, fish, and invertebrates.
- Clean and maintain aquarium exhibits and perform life support maintenance on all systems.
- Prepare animal diets and feed according to established procedures
- Responsible for the day to day maintenance of life support systems and water quality perimeters in assigned area.
- This position will enter exhibits by use of SCUBA equipment to clean Exhibitory, provide animal care, and/or feed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marine biology or related field from four-year college or university; one year of experience working in a public aquarium/zoo; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Open Water SCUBA certification
- Certifications in First aid, CPR, AED and Emergency Oxygen
