Job Description:
As part of the Financial Department, you will participate in the group's accounting consolidation and reporting process in collaboration with the accounting and financial control departments.
Role description:
- Participation in Alantra’s financial consolidation process elaborating the group consolidated financial statements under IFRS and analysis of the main variations, ensuring the correct application of accounting standards and consolidation rules.
- Analysis of the accounting (PGC and IFRS) and regulatory (CNMV) impact of corporate operations and transactions.
- Elaborate reports for management.
- Participate in the elaboration of consolidated annual accounts and half-year financial reports as a listed company.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports (financial statements and solvency information) of Alantras’s regulated entities (investment firms, venture capital management companies (SGECR) and fund managers (SGIIC)) for reporting to the CNMV.
- Support the information required for audit work (consolidation adjustments and accounting treatment of transactions).
- Preparation of subsidiaries annual accounts.
Requirements:
- 4 – 6 years of experience in consolidation departments of multinational groups or audit firms.
- Bilingual/Native English level
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Business Administration and Law.
- Knowledge of accounting consolidation and standards: PGC and IFRS
- Advanced office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, project management and time management skills
Desirable requirements:
- Master's degree in auditing and/or accounting
- Knowledge of consolidation tools (Onestream, SAP BPC or others) and / or accounting ERPs (SAP)
- Valuable knowledge of SCIIF
- Valuable knowledge of accounting and solvency regulations for regulated companies (investment firms, venture capital management companies (SGECR) and fund managers (SGIIC)).
