The Role
We’re looking for a sharp and entrepreneurial Environmental Commodities Trader to join our team and manage a portfolio of environmental products across both OTC and exchange-based platforms. You’ll be responsible for building positions, managing risk, and capturing value in a rapidly evolving market landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Trade environmental commodities across multiple platforms (OTC and screen-based).
- Price and manage positions in carbon credits, EAC’s, biofuels, and related products.
- Build and maintain strong counterparty relationships.
- Analyze market data, identify arbitrage opportunities, and execute strategies.
- Work closely with operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure proper trade execution and reporting.
- Provide input on new product development and market expansion.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience trading environmental commodities, energy products, or related instruments.
- Background at a buy-side trading firm is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a trading book independently.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of risk and PnL attribution.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
