About the Role<\/b>

Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Senior Projects Manager<\/b> with a strong technical background and proven experience in electrical reticulation<\/b>—including Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and Low Voltage (LV) systems<\/b>, Eskom connections<\/b>, and distribution & transmission line projects<\/b>.
<\/p>
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of large -scale renewable energy projects from planning through to grid connection, ensuring compliance with Eskom, NERSA, and other relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h3>
Oversee the end -to -end management of renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Hybrid), with a focus on grid integration and reticulation infrastructure
<\/p><\/li>
Manage MV, HV, and LV electrical design, construction, and commissioning
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure compliance with Eskom, municipal and other utility provider standards
<\/p><\/li>
Liaise with Eskom for grid code compliance, permitting, and power purchase agreements (PPA)
<\/p><\/li>
Lead project teams and contractors, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule
<\/p><\/li>
Develop project timelines, track milestones, and manage risks proactively
<\/p><\/li>
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, environmental and legal teams
<\/p><\/li>
Provide regular progress reports to senior stakeholders
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality) standards are maintained on -site
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Required Experience & Qualifications<\/b>
<\/h3>
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field
<\/p><\/li>
Minimum 8–10 years' project management experience<\/b> in electrical infrastructure<\/b> or renewable energy<\/b> projects
<\/p><\/li>
Proven experience working with MV, HV lines<\/b>, Eskom connections<\/b>, substations<\/b>, transformers<\/b>, and reticulation systems<\/b>
<\/p><\/li>
Knowledge of NERSA<\/b>, Grid Code<\/b>, SSEG<\/b>, and municipal technical requirements<\/b>
<\/p><\/li>
PMP or PRINCE2 certification would be an advantage
<\/p><\/li>
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem -solving skills
<\/p><\/li>
Willingness to travel to remote project locations across South Africa
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
